2. Radio Wave Reception

This watch automatically receives radio waves to set the correct time. It supports reception from 2 stations in Japan, China, Germany, and the United States. For optimal reception, place the watch near a window at night. Manual reception can also be initiated.

Maintenance

1. Charging

To maintain optimal performance, regularly expose your watch to light. Avoid prolonged storage in dark places. The watch has a full charge duration of approximately 12 months without light exposure (in power-saving mode) or 18 months (with power-saving mode activated).

2. Cleaning

Wipe the watch case and band with a soft, dry cloth. For metal bands, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using chemical cleaners or solvents.

3. Water Resistance

The watch is water-resistant to 10 ATM (100 meters). This means it is suitable for everyday use, showering, swimming, and snorkeling. Do not operate buttons underwater. After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry thoroughly.

Troubleshooting

  • Watch not keeping accurate time:

Ensure the watch is receiving radio signals. Place it near a window overnight. If issues persist, manually initiate radio wave reception. Check the reference position of the hands if they appear misaligned due to impact or static electricity.

  • Digital display is blank or dim:

The watch may be in power-saving mode or require charging. Expose it to bright light for several hours. If the charging warning function is active, the battery level is low.

  • Buttons are unresponsive:

Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, refer to specific button operations). If the watch is fully discharged, some functions may be temporarily disabled until sufficient charge is accumulated.
