3. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the table saw and all components from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
  2. Stabilization: Place the saw on a stable, level surface. The metal roll cage provides a sturdy base.
  3. Guard System Installation: The Site-Pro Modular Guarding System can be installed without tools. Align the guard with the designated slots and secure it. Refer to Figure 3.1 for proper guard placement.
  4. Blade Installation/Check: Ensure the 10-inch, 24-tooth carbide blade is securely installed. If replacing, use the provided wrenches to loosen and tighten the arbor nut.
  5. Fence Adjustment: Unlock the fence and slide it along the rack and pinion rails to the desired position. Lock the fence securely before operation.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Powering On/Off

To power on the saw, press the green "ON" button. To power off, press the red "OFF" paddle switch. Always ensure the saw is off and unplugged before making any adjustments or maintenance.

4.2. Adjusting Blade Height and Bevel

  • Blade Height: Use the large handwheel on the front of the saw to raise or lower the blade. Rotate clockwise to raise and counter-clockwise to lower.
  • Blade Bevel (Angle): Loosen the bevel lock lever (typically on the front or side) and use the smaller handwheel or lever to tilt the blade to the desired angle (up to 45 degrees). Securely tighten the bevel lock lever before cutting.

4.3. Using the Fence

The rack and pinion telescoping fence allows for precise adjustments. Unlock the fence, slide it to the desired measurement indicated on the scale, and then lock it firmly in place. Ensure the fence is parallel to the blade for accurate cuts.

4.4. Using the Miter Gauge

Insert the miter gauge into the miter slot on the table. Adjust the angle as needed for cross-cuts or angled cuts. Always hold the workpiece firmly against the miter gauge and the table during operation.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean sawdust and debris from the saw table, fence, and motor housing. Use a shop vacuum for dust collection.
  • Blade Inspection: Periodically inspect the saw blade for sharpness, damage, or missing teeth. Replace dull or damaged blades promptly.
  • Guard System Check: Ensure the Site-Pro Modular Guarding System operates smoothly and is free from obstructions.
  • Lubrication: Apply light machine oil to moving parts such as the blade height and bevel mechanisms as needed to ensure smooth operation.
  • Power Cord Inspection: Check the power cord for any cuts, fraying, or damage before each use.
