Setup and First Use

Initial Cleaning

Before first use, disassemble all parts and wash them thoroughly with warm water and mild soap. Rinse well and dry completely. Do not use abrasive materials or harsh detergents, as they can damage the aluminium finish.

Seasoning (Optional but Recommended)

To enhance the flavor of your coffee and season the pot, brew 2-3 batches of coffee and discard them. This helps to remove any metallic taste and build up a protective layer inside the pot.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to brew coffee with your Monix M281706 coffee maker:

1. Fill the Boiler: Unscrew the upper chamber from the lower chamber. Fill the lower chamber (boiler) with cold water up to the level of the safety valve. Do not exceed the valve.
2. Add Coffee Grounds: Insert the filter basket into the lower chamber. Fill the filter basket with medium-fine ground coffee. Do not tamp the coffee. Level the grounds gently without pressing them down.
