1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your REV PrimaLuxe recessed light switch. Please read these instructions carefully before installation and operation, and retain them for future reference.

The REV PrimaLuxe switch is designed for surface mounting and can function as a toggle switch or an ON/OFF switch for a single consumer. It features a plastic cover and frame in white, suitable for dry indoor environments (IP20).

2. Safety Instructions

5. Setup and Installation

Important: Ensure power is OFF at the main circuit breaker before proceeding with installation.

1. Prepare the Installation Area: Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and flat.
2. Separate Components: Carefully separate the switch cover, mounting frame, and switch mechanism.
3. Wiring: Connect the electrical wires to the terminals on the switch mechanism. Refer to the wiring diagram below for correct connections. The switch supports 2-way wiring.

4. Mount the Mechanism: Secure the switch mechanism into the wall box or surface mount box using appropriate screws.
5. Attach the Frame: Place the mounting frame over the secured switch mechanism.
6. Install the Cover: Snap the switch cover onto the mounting frame. Ensure it is securely seated.
7. Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all components are securely in place, restore power at the main circuit breaker.

6. Operating Instructions

The REV PrimaLuxe switch operates as a standard toggle switch. Press the upper or lower part of the rocker switch to turn the connected light or appliance ON or OFF.

7. Maintenance

The REV PrimaLuxe switch requires minimal maintenance.

• Cleaning: To clean the switch, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or excessive moisture, as this can damage the plastic or electrical components.
