4. Setup
4.1 Initial Power-Up

4.2 Setting Current Time and Day
- Press the MODE button until the clock icon or current time setting mode is displayed.
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the current hour. Press OK to confirm.
- Repeat the process for minutes and then the day of the week.
- Once all settings are confirmed, the display will return to the normal time display.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Programming ON/OFF Cycles (20 Programs)
The timer allows for up to 20 individual ON/OFF programs. The shortest programming interval is 1 minute.
- Press the MODE button repeatedly until "PROG" appears on the display.
- The display will show "1 ON". Use UP/DOWN to select the desired day(s) for this program (e.g., MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU, or combinations like MO-FR, SA-SU, MO-SU). Press OK.
- Set the desired ON hour using UP/DOWN, then press OK.
- Set the desired ON minute using UP/DOWN, then press OK.
- The display will now show "1 OFF". Repeat steps 2-4 to set the OFF time for the first program.
- After setting "1 OFF", the display will show "2 ON". Continue programming additional ON/OFF cycles as needed (up to 20).
- To exit programming mode, press the MODE button.
5.2 Countdown Function
The countdown function allows you to set a specific duration after which the connected device will turn ON or OFF.
- Press the MODE button until "CD" (Countdown) appears on the display.
- Use UP/DOWN to set the desired countdown duration (hours, minutes, seconds). Press OK after each setting.
- The countdown will begin. The device will switch its state (ON to OFF or OFF to ON) once the countdown reaches zero.
- To cancel the countdown, press MODE again.
5.3 Random Function
The random function (RND) provides a security feature by turning the connected device ON and OFF at irregular intervals, simulating occupancy.
- Press the MODE button until "RND" appears on the display.
- Press OK to activate the random function. The timer will now switch ON and OFF randomly within a set period (e.g., 30 minutes ON, 30 minutes OFF, with random delays).
- To deactivate, press MODE again.
5.4 Summer/Winter Time Adjustment
This function allows for quick adjustment of the clock for daylight saving time.
- While in normal time display, press and hold the OK button for approximately 3 seconds to toggle between summer and winter time. The display will indicate the change.
5.5 Manual ON/OFF Function
To manually override the current program or state:
- In normal operating mode, press the OK button briefly to cycle through ON, OFF, and AUTO modes.
- ON: The connected device will remain continuously ON.
- OFF: The connected device will remain continuously OFF.
- AUTO: The timer will follow the programmed ON/OFF cycles.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the timer from the power outlet before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the timer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting
- Display is blank:
- Ensure the timer is securely plugged into a live power outlet.
- If the timer has been unplugged for a very long time, the internal battery might be fully discharged. Plug it in for a few hours to allow the battery to recharge.
- Programs are not running:
- Check if the timer is in "AUTO" mode. If it's in "ON" or "OFF" manual mode, programs will be overridden.
- Verify that the current time and day are set correctly.
- Review your programmed ON/OFF times for accuracy.
- Connected device does not turn ON/OFF:
- Ensure the connected device is properly plugged into the timer's socket and is switched ON.
- Check if the connected device itself is functioning correctly by plugging it directly into a wall outlet.
