1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your SUPERNIGHT 16.4FT (5M) SMD 5050 RGB LED Strip Lights. These flexible LED strips are designed for indoor use, offering vibrant color-changing illumination. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper and safe operation.

2. Safety Information

Ensure the power supply (not included) matches the specified voltage (12V) and current requirements of the LED strip. Incorrect power can damage the product or pose a fire hazard.
This product is rated IP65 waterproof, meaning it is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. It is intended for indoor use only and should not be submerged in water or exposed to heavy outdoor weather conditions.
Do not connect the LED strip directly to AC power. A DC 12V power adapter is required.
Avoid bending the LED strip sharply, especially at the solder joints, as this can damage the circuit.
Only cut the LED strip at designated cutting marks (indicated by a scissor icon) to avoid damaging the circuit.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not cover the LED strip with materials that could trap heat, as this may lead to overheating.

4. Product Features

SMD 5050 LED Technology: Features 300 high-brightness RGB LEDs on a 16.4ft (5M) flexible PCB board.

5. Setup

5.1 Required Components (Not Included)

DC 12V Power Adapter
RGB Remote Controller (for color changing and mode selection)

5.2 Installation Steps

Prepare the Surface: Clean the surface where the LED strip will be installed. Ensure it is dry, smooth, and free of dust or oil for optimal adhesive performance.
Measure and Cut (Optional): If a shorter length is desired, measure the required length and carefully cut the strip only at the designated cutting marks, indicated by a scissor icon. Cutting elsewhere will damage the circuit.

Peel and Stick: Carefully peel off the protective backing from the double-sided adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip. Press the strip firmly onto the prepared surface, ensuring good contact along its entire length.
Connect to Controller: Connect the 4-pin connector of the LED strip to your RGB remote controller (not included). Ensure the arrows on both connectors align.
Connect Power: Connect the RGB remote controller to a compatible DC 12V power adapter (not included). Then, plug the power adapter into a power outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

Once the LED strip is properly installed and connected to a power source and RGB controller (not included), you can operate it using the remote controller.

Power On/Off: Use the power button on your remote controller to turn the lights on or off.
Color Selection: Select desired colors (Red, Green, Blue, White, etc.) directly from the remote controller's color palette.
Brightness Adjustment: Increase or decrease the brightness using the dedicated brightness control buttons on the remote.
Mode Selection: Choose from various dynamic modes (e.g., flash, strobe, fade, smooth) to create different lighting effects.

7. Maintenance

Cleaning: Gently wipe the LED strip with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the strip is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
Inspection: Periodically check the strip for any signs of damage, such as cracks in the resin coating or loose connections.
Adhesive Longevity: If the adhesive begins to lose its stickiness, additional mounting clips or stronger adhesive tape may be used to secure the strip.

8. Troubleshooting

Adhesive is not sticking.	Surface not clean/dry, unsuitable surface material, old adhesive.	Clean the surface thoroughly with rubbing alcohol and let it dry completely before application. For porous or uneven surfaces, use additional mounting clips or a stronger adhesive.
