4. Operating Instructions

This system offers various functions for vehicle security and convenience.

4.1. Passive Keyless Entry (PKE)

The PKE feature automatically locks and unlocks your vehicle as you approach or walk away with the remote control.

  • Automatic Arming/Locking: When you walk away from the vehicle with the remote control, the system will automatically arm and lock the doors once you are outside the detection range (typically 2-3 meters). The hazard lights will flash, and the siren will chirp to confirm.
  • Automatic Disarming/Unlocking: When you approach the vehicle with the remote control, the system will automatically disarm and unlock the doors once you are within the detection range. The hazard lights will flash, and the siren will chirp twice to confirm.

4.2. Remote Control Functions

The remote control provides manual control over the system's features.

  • Lock/Arm: Press the Lock button once to arm the system and lock the doors. The siren will chirp once, and the hazard lights will flash once.
  • Unlock/Disarm: Press the Unlock button once to disarm the system and unlock the doors. The siren will chirp twice, and the hazard lights will flash twice.
  • Remote Engine Start: Press and hold the Engine Start button (or designated button) for approximately 3 seconds. The engine will start, and the doors will remain locked. The vehicle will run for a pre-set time (e.g., 10-15 minutes) or until you enter the vehicle and press the brake pedal.
  • Remote Engine Stop: While the engine is running via remote start, press and hold the Engine Start button again for 3 seconds to turn off the engine.
