    • TM-1 type: DN50-700mm, -30-90℃
    • TL-1 type: DN300-6000mm, -30-90℃
    • HTS-2 type: DN15-100mm, -30-160℃
    • HTM-1 type: DN50-700mm, -30-160℃
    • HTL-1 type: DN300-6000mm, -30-160℃
  • Insertion Type Transducers:
    • TC-1: DN>80mm, -30~160℃
    • TC-2: DN>80mm, -30~160℃ (Lengthen Type)

4. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for accurate measurements. Follow these general steps:

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a straight section of pipe, free from bends, valves, or pumps that could cause turbulence. Ensure sufficient upstream and downstream straight pipe lengths as recommended in the full installation guide (refer to product documentation for specific requirements).
  2. Prepare the Pipe Surface: Clean the outer surface of the pipe where the transducers will be mounted. Remove any paint, rust, or debris to ensure good contact.
  3. Apply Coupling Agent: Apply a generous amount of ultrasonic coupling agent to the contact surfaces of both the transducers and the pipe. This agent is critical for transmitting ultrasonic signals.
  4. Mount Transducers: Attach the TS-2 transducers to the pipe using the provided clamp fixture. Ensure they are positioned correctly according to the flow direction and the specified distance for your pipe diameter. The transducers should be firmly secured to prevent movement.
  5. Connect Cables: Connect the transducer cables to the appropriate ports on the main transmitter unit. Ensure all connections are secure.
  6. Power On: Connect the DC8-36V power supply to the transmitter unit. The unit should power on and display the initial screen.
  7. Initial Configuration: Access the menu to input pipe parameters (material, outer diameter, wall thickness) and liquid parameters (type of liquid). These settings are vital for accurate flow calculation.

Note: For detailed installation diagrams and specific transducer spacing, please consult the comprehensive technical manual provided with your device.

5. Operating Instructions

The TUF-2000M-TS-2 features a user-friendly menu system for configuration and data viewing.

5.1. Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: The unit powers on automatically when connected to a DC8-36V supply. Disconnect power to turn off.
  • Display: The main display shows real-time flow rate, totalizer values, and signal status.
  • Menu Navigation: Use the 'MENU' button to enter the main menu. Use the 'UP' (▲) and 'DOWN' (►) buttons to navigate through menu options. Press 'ENT' to select an option or confirm a setting.

5.2. Data Recording and Retrieval

The flow meter automatically records various data points:

  • Totalizer Data: Access historical totalizer values for daily, monthly, and yearly periods through the menu.
  • Power On/Off Events: Review the log of power cycles, including the time and flow meter readings at those events.
  • Working Status: Monitor the operational status of the device over the last 32 days to identify any anomalies.

5.3. Communication and Output

The device supports various communication and output options:

  • Analog Input: 3 channels of 4-20mA analog input.
