4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Spitzer EL100 Electric Golf Cart:

  1. Unfold the Frame: Gently unfold the main cart frame until it locks into its open position. Ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged.
  2. Attach the Wheels: Slide the two main wheels onto their respective axles. Secure them using the provided quick-release pins or locking mechanisms. Ensure the wheels are firmly attached and spin freely.
  3. Install the Battery: Place the lithium-ion battery pack into its designated carry bag. Secure the battery bag to the cart frame using the attached straps. Connect the battery cable to the cart's power input.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On/Off: Locate the power button on the handle. Press it to turn the cart on. The indicator light will illuminate. Press again to turn off.
  2. Speed Control: Use the variable speed control knob on the handle to adjust the cart's speed. Rotate clockwise to increase speed and counter-clockwise to decrease.
  3. Maneuvering: Guide the cart by holding the handle. The dual tubular motors provide propulsion and assist in maneuvering over varied terrain.
  4. Folding for Transport/Storage: The cart features a quick 5-second folding mechanism. Release the locking mechanisms (refer to Figure 4.1 for general folding points) and collapse the frame.

6. Battery Charging and Care

The Spitzer EL100 is equipped with a high-performance Lithium-Ion battery. Proper charging and care are crucial for battery longevity.

6.1 Charging Procedure

  1. Ensure the golf cart is turned off.
  2. Disconnect the battery from the cart. It is recommended to remove the battery from the cart for charging.
  3. Connect the charger to the battery pack.
  4. Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
  5. Allow the battery to charge fully. The charger's indicator light will typically change color (e.g., red to green) when charging is complete.
  6. Once charged, disconnect the charger from the outlet, then from the battery.

6.2 Battery Care Tips

  • Avoid completely draining the battery before recharging.

8. Troubleshooting
