Operating Instructions

  • Basic Functionality:

The mouse functions as a standard two-button optical mouse with a scroll wheel. Move the mouse to control the cursor on your screen. Use the left button for primary clicks and the right button for secondary clicks (context menus).

  • DPI Adjustment:

The mouse features a DPI change button, typically located near the scroll wheel. Press this button to cycle through different DPI (Dots Per Inch) sensitivity settings, usually between 800 DPI and 1600 DPI. This allows you to adjust cursor speed to your preference.

  • Power On/Off:

To conserve battery life, slide the power switch on the underside of the mouse to the "OFF" position when not in use for extended periods, or when transporting the mouse.

Maintenance

  • Battery Replacement:

When the mouse performance degrades or stops responding, it is likely time to replace the batteries. Follow the steps in the "Install Batteries" section to replace the two (2) AAA alkaline batteries. Dispose of old batteries responsibly.

  • Cleaning:

To clean the mouse, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid getting liquids inside the mouse. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
