4.1 Front Panel

4.2 Rear Panel
The rear panel contains all the necessary connection ports for audio, video, and network. Ensure all cables are securely connected.

4.3 Remote Control
The included remote control allows you to operate all functions of the Blu-ray player from a distance. Familiarize yourself with the button layout.

5. Setup
5.1 Connecting to a TV
For the best picture and sound quality, connect the player to your TV using an HDMI cable.
- Ensure both the Blu-ray player and your TV are turned off.
- Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT port on the rear of the Blu-ray player.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to an available HDMI IN port on your TV. Note the HDMI input number (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2) for later selection.
5.2 Connecting to an Audio System (Optional)
If you wish to connect the player to an external audio system for enhanced sound, use one of the following methods:
- Digital Audio (Coaxial/Optical): Connect a digital audio cable from the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT port on the player to the corresponding digital audio input on your amplifier or receiver.
- Analog Audio: Connect RCA audio cables (red and white) from the ANALOG AUDIO OUT ports on the player to the analog audio inputs on your amplifier or receiver.
5.3 Power Connection
- Connect the power cord to the AC IN socket on the rear of the Blu-ray player.
- Plug the other end of the power cord into a wall outlet.
Note: The player is designed for 100V, 50/60Hz power supply. Ensure your power source matches these specifications.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Playback
- Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI input.
- Press the POWER button on the player or remote control to turn on the unit.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc tray.
- Place a disc (Blu-ray, DVD, CD) gently into the tray with the label side facing up.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray. The player will automatically begin reading the disc.
- Use the remote control's playback buttons (PLAY, PAUSE, STOP, SKIP) to control playback.
6.2 Supported Media Formats
The BDP-3120-W supports a wide range of disc and file formats, including:
- Blu-ray Disc (BDMV/BDAV)
- DVD (AVCREC/AVCHD)
- CD
- High-definition HD files such as DivX Plus HD
- 3GP files
Note: BD-R/RE discs may not be playable if they are not finalized or recorded in an unsupported format.
6.3 Special Features
- Quick Start: The disc tray opens in approximately 2 seconds from power off, allowing for faster disc loading.
- Instant Skip/Replay: Equipped with instant skip (30 seconds forward) and instant replay (10 seconds backward) functions, accessible with a single touch on the remote control.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning the Unit
- Always unplug the player from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the player.
- Do not use abrasive cloths, waxes, benzene, thinners, or alcohol, as these may damage the finish.
7.2 Disc Handling
- Hold discs by their edges to avoid fingerprints on the playing surface.
- Keep discs clean. If a disc is dirty, wipe it gently with a soft, lint-free cloth from the center outwards.
- Do not use solvents such as benzene, thinners, or commercially available cleaners for discs.
- Store discs in their cases away from direct sunlight and heat.
