1. Introduction

4. Setup

4.1 Physical Setup

  1. Assemble the Stand: Carefully attach the monitor panel to the stand base. Ensure it clicks securely into place. Refer to the quick setup guide for specific instructions if provided with your unit.
  2. Position the Monitor: Place the monitor on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the monitor.
  3. Connect Video Cable: Connect one end of the video cable (VGA, DVI, or DisplayPort) to the corresponding port on the back of the monitor and the other end to the video output port on your computer.

4.2 Initial Power On

  1. Ensure all cables are securely connected.
  2. Press the power button on the front or bottom bezel of the monitor. The power indicator light should illuminate.
  3. Turn on your computer. The monitor should automatically detect the input signal and display the computer's screen.

5.1 Basic Functions and On-Screen Display (OSD)

The monitor features an On-Screen Display (OSD) menu for adjusting various settings. The OSD buttons are typically located on the front or bottom bezel of the monitor.

  • Power Button: Turns the monitor on or off.
  • Menu Button: Opens the OSD menu.
  • Navigation Buttons (+ / - or < / >): Navigate through menu options and adjust values.
  • OK/Select Button: Confirms selections within the OSD menu.
  • Input Select Button: Quickly switches between available video input sources (VGA, DVI, DisplayPort).

5.2 Adjusting Settings via OSD

To adjust monitor settings:

  1. Press the Menu button to open the OSD.
  2. Use the navigation buttons to scroll through categories such as Brightness/Contrast, Color Control, Image Control, Input Control, and Management.
  3. Press OK/Select to enter a category.
  4. Use navigation buttons to adjust values or select sub-options.
  5. Press Menu again to exit the OSD or go back to the previous menu level.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity of your monitor.

  • Cleaning the Screen: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, dampen the cloth slightly with water or a non-abrasive screen cleaner. Do not spray liquid directly onto the screen.
