3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Clipster
Before first use, fully charge the Clipster's internal rechargeable battery. Use the included USB cable to connect the Clipster's micro-USB port to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate while charging.
- The light will turn off once charging is complete.

3.2 Powering On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the Power button (power icon) until the indicator light illuminates.
- To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the indicator light turns off.
3.3 Bluetooth Pairing
The Clipster will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode when powered on for the first time or if no device is currently connected. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash rapidly.
- Ensure your Bluetooth device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) has Bluetooth enabled.
- Go to your device's Bluetooth settings and select "ION Clipster" from the list of available devices.
- Once paired, the Clipster's Bluetooth indicator light will glow solid blue, and you will hear an audible confirmation.
- If pairing fails, turn off the Clipster and your Bluetooth device, then repeat the steps.

4. Operation
4.1 Audio Playback
After successful pairing, you can begin playing audio from your Bluetooth device. The Clipster's controls allow for basic playback management:
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button (play/pause icon) to start or pause audio playback.
- Volume Up: Press the Volume + button (volume up icon) to increase the volume.
- Volume Down: Press the Volume - button (volume down icon) to decrease the volume.
Note: Track skipping (next/previous) is typically controlled directly from your connected Bluetooth device.
4.2 Using the Integrated Clip
The Clipster features a durable, integrated carabiner-style clip. This allows you to securely attach the speaker to various items for hands-free listening:
- Attach to a belt loop while walking or hiking.
- Clip to a backpack strap for music on the go.
- Secure to a beach chair or umbrella for outdoor relaxation.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the Clipster. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the Clipster in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the unit regularly, even if not in constant use.
- Important: The ION Clipster is not waterproof. Exercise caution and avoid exposing the device to water, rain, or excessive moisture.
