3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the M4 Lithium-Ion battery. Ensure the charger is connected to a standard power outlet.

  1. Insert the M4 battery pack into the charger. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.
  2. Allow the battery to charge until the indicator light signals a full charge.
  3. Remove the battery pack from the charger once fully charged.

3.2 Installing and Removing the Battery

  1. To Install: Align the battery pack with the base of the screwdriver handle. Slide the battery into the handle until it clicks securely into place.
  2. To Remove: Press the battery release tabs on the sides of the battery pack and slide the battery out of the handle.

3.3 Installing and Removing Bits

The screwdriver features a 1/4 Hex chuck for quick bit changes.

  1. To Install: Pull the chuck collar forward. Insert the 1/4 hex shank bit fully into the chuck. Release the collar to lock the bit in place. Gently pull on the bit to ensure it is securely seated.
  2. To Remove: Pull the chuck collar forward and pull the bit out.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

To start the screwdriver, press the trigger switch. To stop, release the trigger switch. The integrated LED work light will activate when the trigger is pressed.

4.2 Forward/Reverse Rotation

The direction of rotation is controlled by the forward/reverse selector switch located above the trigger.

  • For forward (clockwise) rotation, push the selector switch to the left.
  • For reverse (counter-clockwise) rotation, push the selector switch to the right.
  • When the selector switch is in the center position, the trigger is locked, preventing accidental operation.

4.3 Torque Adjustment

The screwdriver features an adjustable clutch with multiple torque settings and a drill mode. Rotate the torque adjustment collar to select the desired setting.

  • Lower numbers indicate lower torque for delicate applications.
  • Higher numbers provide increased torque for driving larger fasteners.
  • The drill symbol setting bypasses the clutch for drilling applications.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the tool to ensure optimal performance. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Keep the ventilation openings clear of dust and debris.
