7. Once popping slows down significantly (usually after 2-3 minutes), flip the On/Off switch to the "OFF" position and unplug the unit from the outlet.
8. Allow the unit to cool completely before attempting to make another batch or cleaning.

Note: A small amount of unpopped kernels (old maids) is normal. Do not attempt to re-pop these kernels as it may cause the unit to overheat.
