Setup
1. Unpacking the System
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure you have the following items:
- Main Base Unit
- Cordless Handsets (4 included)
- Handset Chargers (3 for satellite handsets)
- AC Adapters (for base unit and chargers)
- Telephone Line Cord
- Rechargeable AAA Batteries (2 per handset)
2. Battery Installation
Each handset requires two AAA rechargeable batteries. Follow these steps:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset.
- Insert the two AAA rechargeable batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- Place the handset on its charging cradle or the main base unit to charge for at least 7 hours before initial use.
3. Base Unit Connection
Connect the main base unit to your telephone line and power outlet:
- Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the "LINE" jack on the base unit.
- Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to your telephone wall jack.
- Connect the AC adapter to the "DC IN" jack on the base unit.
- Plug the AC adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
- For satellite chargers, connect their respective AC adapters to the chargers and then to electrical outlets.
4. Handset Registration
Your handsets should be pre-registered to the base unit. If a handset displays "Unregistered" or similar, follow these steps to register it:
- On the base unit, press and hold the LOCATOR/INTERCOM button for approximately 5 seconds until the registration tone sounds.
- On the handset, press the MENU button, then navigate to "Initial setting" > "Registration" > "Register Handset".
- Press OK. The handset will search for the base unit.
- Once registered, the handset will display its assigned number (e.g., "Handset 1").
Operating Instructions
1. Basic Call Operations
- Making a Call:
- Lift the handset from the base/charger or press the TALK button.
- Dial the phone number.
- Press TALK again if you dialed before lifting the handset.
- Answering a Call:
- When the phone rings, lift the handset or press the TALK button.
- Ending a Call:
- Place the handset back on the base/charger or press the OFF button.
- Speakerphone:
- During a call, press the SPEAKERPHONE button to switch to hands-free mode. Press again to switch back to handset.

2. Answering Machine Functions
The integrated answering machine can record up to 30 minutes of messages.
- Playing Messages:
- On the base unit, press the PLAY button.
- On a handset, press MENU, then navigate to "Answering machine" > "Play messages".

- Recording Outgoing Message (OGM):
- On a handset, press MENU, then navigate to "Answering machine" > "OGM" > "Record OGM".

- Remote Access:
You can access your answering machine remotely from an outside line.

3. Phonebook (Directory)
The system can store up to 120 entries in the shared phonebook.
- Adding a Contact:
- Press the PHONEBOOK button.
- Select "Add new entry".
- Enter the name and phone number using the keypad.
- Press SAVE.
- Making a Call from Phonebook:
- Press the PHONEBOOK button.
- Scroll to the desired entry or use the dial pad to search by name.
- Press the TALK button.
4. Call Features
- Caller ID: The display shows the caller's name and number if available and subscribed to Caller ID service.
- Call Blocking: Block unwanted calls from specific numbers.
