Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your rice cooker, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Rice sticks to the inner pot. | Incorrect rice-to-water ratio; insufficient rinsing; not allowing rice to rest. | Ensure correct water levels as per manual. Rinse rice thoroughly before cooking. Allow rice to rest in "Warm" mode for 5-10 minutes after cooking. Consider adding a small amount of cooking oil to the inner pot before adding rice and water. |
| Rice is burnt at the bottom. | Incorrect water level; cooker left on "COOK" mode too long. | Verify water levels. Ensure the cooker automatically switches to "WARM" mode after cooking. Do not manually keep it on "COOK" mode. |
| Inner pot discolors after washing. | Harsh detergents or dishwasher use. | While dishwasher safe, hand washing with mild detergent is recommended to preserve the pot's appearance. Avoid abrasive scrubbers. |
| Cooker does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power outage; faulty outlet. | Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Test the outlet with another appliance. |
