1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the proper use and maintenance of your SEIWA PGA Bluetooth Headset BT630. This headset offers wireless connectivity to smartphones and mobile phones, enabling hands-free communication. It features clear voice transmission, Bluetooth 4.0 standard for excellent communication performance and power saving, and multi-point connection capability, allowing simultaneous connection to two Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones.

The headset is designed for comfortable in-ear wear and includes two types of earpieces for a customized fit. It supports A2DP (SCMS-T) for audio output of music and one-segment audio. Voice prompts guide you through connection status and power ON/OFF. An ear hook is included to prevent accidental dropout, and it can be worn on either ear. Simple operation allows for answering/ending calls and redialing the last number. Volume control is managed via two easy-to-use buttons. For iPhone users, the remaining battery level is displayed on the status bar.

The headset features a main switch for call management, volume control buttons (+/-), a charging port (USB), and an indicator light.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Headset

Before first use, fully charge the headset. The charging time is approximately 2 hours.

  1. Connect the USB charging cable to the headset's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter, or the included DC charger for car use).
  3. The indicator light will show charging status (refer to headset's specific light indications).
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable. The headset can be used while charging.

5.2 Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

The headset can connect wirelessly to your smartphone or mobile phone. It supports multi-point connection, allowing it to be connected to two Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones simultaneously.

  1. Ensure the headset is turned off.
  2. Press and hold the main switch until the indicator light flashes rapidly (usually blue and red alternately), indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "BT630" (or similar name) from the list of found devices.
  5. If prompted for a passcode, enter "0000" (four zeros).
  6. Once successfully paired, the indicator light will change (e.g., slow blue flashes), and you may hear a voice prompt confirming the connection.
  7. To connect a second device (multi-point), repeat steps 2-5 with the second device. The headset will maintain connection with both.
