1. Introduction

4. Setup and Installation

Installation should only be performed by a qualified electrician or a person with a thorough understanding of electrical wiring.

4.1 Wiring Instructions

  1. Turn off power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the switch location and turn off the power. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
  2. Prepare wires: This device requires connection to a Neutral wire. Ensure you have access to Line (Hot), Load, Neutral, and Ground wires in the electrical box.

  • Manual ON/OFF: Press the top part of the rocker switch to turn the connected load ON. Press the bottom part of the rocker switch to turn the connected load OFF.
  • Wireless Control: When paired with a compatible wireless occupancy sensor, the switch will respond to the sensor's signals, automatically turning lights on or off based on occupancy detection. Manual override is typically available via the rocker switch.
