Setup

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove the main unit, speakers, and all accessories from the packaging. Retain the packaging materials for future transport or storage.

2. Speaker Connection

Connect the speaker wires from each speaker to the corresponding speaker terminals on the rear of the main unit. Ensure correct polarity (red to red, black to black) for optimal sound quality. Improper connection can result in poor sound or damage.

3. Power Connection

Insert the power cord into the AC IN jack on the rear of the main unit, then plug the other end into a standard AC100V wall outlet.

4. iPod/iPhone Connection

Open the dock cover on the top of the main unit and carefully place your compatible iPod or iPhone device onto the integrated dock connector. Ensure it is seated firmly.

5. USB Device Connection

Insert your USB storage device (e.g., USB flash drive) into the USB port located on the front panel of the main unit.

6. Antenna Connection

  • FM Antenna: Connect the supplied FM antenna to the FM ANT terminal on the rear panel. Extend the wire for better reception.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press the POWER button on the front panel or the remote control to turn the unit on or off.

2. Source Selection

Press the FUNCTION or SOURCE button repeatedly on the front panel or remote control to cycle through available input sources: CD, iPod/iPhone, USB, FM, AM, and AUX.

3. CD Playback

  1. Select the CD source.
  2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD tray.
  3. Place a CD with the label side up in the tray.
  4. Press OPEN/CLOSE again to close the tray. Playback will start automatically or by pressing PLAY.
  5. Use PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP (►►| / |◄◄), and SEARCH buttons for control.

4. iPod/iPhone Playback

  1. Ensure your iPod/iPhone is correctly docked.
  2. Select the iPod/iPhone source.
  3. Use the unit's or remote control's playback buttons to control your device's music.

5. USB Playback and Recording

  1. Playback: Select the USB source. The unit will automatically detect and display playable files. Use playback controls to navigate and play music.
  2. Recording: Select the desired source (CD, FM/AM radio, or AUX input). Press the RECORD button. The unit will begin recording the audio from the selected source to the connected USB device. Press STOP to end recording.

6. Radio Operation (FM/AM)

  1. Select the FM or AM source.
  2. Use the TUNING buttons (►►| / |◄◄) to manually tune to a station.
  3. For automatic tuning, press and hold the TUNING buttons until the tuner starts scanning. It will stop at the next strong station.

7. Volume Control

Rotate the VOLUME knob on the front panel or use the VOLUME +/- buttons on the remote control to adjust the sound level.

8. Remote Control Usage

Point the remote control directly at the main unit's remote sensor. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the unit. Insert two AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control, observing polarity.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Unit: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the main unit and speakers with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, slightly dampen the cloth with water and then wipe dry. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, benzene, or alcohol, as these can damage the finish.
