  1. Filling the Urn: Open the lid and fill the urn with cold water. Do not fill above the maximum fill line indicated on the water gauge. Ensure the lid is securely closed after filling.
  2. Power On: Locate the double switch on the front of the urn. Flip the switch(es) to the 'ON' position. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the heating process has begun.

  4. Dispensing Hot Water: Place a cup or container under the spigot. Push the spigot lever down to dispense hot water. Release the lever to stop the flow.
  5. Adding Cold Water (Shabbos Chip): For specific religious observances, the urn is designed to permit the addition of cold water on Yom Tov without compromising the heated state. Refer to specific religious guidelines for proper application.
  6. Power Off: When finished, flip the switch(es) to the 'OFF' position and unplug the urn from the electrical outlet.
