1. Introduction

The Capstone Lighting Eco-I-Lite is a versatile 4-in-1 LED lighting solution designed for various household needs, especially during power outages and emergencies. It functions as a rechargeable flashlight, a night light, a power failure light, and a work light. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your Eco-I-Lite.

2. Safety Instructions

• This product is designed for indoor use only.
• The device is not water resistant. Avoid exposure to water or excessive moisture.
• Do not attempt to open or modify the device. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Ensure the charging base is securely plugged into a properly functioning 120V AC outlet.

4. Product Overview

• 10 LEDs: Primary light source for flashlight and power failure functions.
• 6 LEDs: Light source for night light and work light functions.

5. Setup

1. Unpack: Remove the Eco-I-Lite and its charging base from the packaging.
2. Plug In: Insert the induction charging base into a standard 120V AC wall outlet. The base features a rotating AC plug for flexible orientation.
3. Charge: Place the Eco-I-Lite securely into the charging base. Ensure proper contact for charging. The unit is designed to be always charged and ready when in the base.
4. Initial Charge: For optimal performance, allow the unit to charge for at least 24 hours before its first use.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Power Failure Light

• When the Eco-I-Lite is in its charging base and the power to the outlet is interrupted, the 10 super bright LEDs will automatically turn on.
• This function provides up to 15 hours of illumination, allowing you to navigate safely during a power outage.

6.2. Flashlight

• Remove the Eco-I-Lite from its charging base. The 10 main LEDs will automatically illuminate.
• Press the Power Button to cycle through brightness settings: High (approx. 3 hours runtime) and Low (approx. 15 hours runtime).
• The flashlight provides 60 lumens of light with an impressive 40-meter distance.

6.3. Night Light

• With the Eco-I-Lite in its charging base, use the Night/Work Light Sliding Switch to select between AUTO-LO (soft glow), AUTO-HI (brighter glow), or OFF.
• In AUTO modes, the 6 LEDs will automatically turn on at dusk or in dark areas and turn off at dawn or when sufficient ambient light is detected.

6.4. Work Light

• To use as a work light, remove the Eco-I-Lite from its base and slide the Night/Work Light Sliding Switch to the ON position.
• The 6 front-facing LEDs will provide illumination for tasks in dark or confined spaces, such as under a sink or car hood.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the Eco-I-Lite and its charging base with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Care: The Eco-I-Lite features a Lithium-ion battery that never needs replacement. For optimal battery life, keep the unit in its charging base when not in use to ensure it is always fully charged and ready for emergencies.

8. Troubleshooting

• Light not turning on:
  • Ensure the charging base is securely plugged into a live 120V AC outlet.
  • Verify the Eco-I-Lite is properly seated in the charging base.
  • Check the sliding switch position (ON, AUTO-LO, AUTO-HI).
• Night light not activating:
  • Ensure the sliding switch is set to AUTO-LO or AUTO-HI.
  • Check that the auto sensor is not obstructed and that the ambient light level is low enough for activation.
