Assembly Instructions

The Real Grade (RG) series features an advanced inner frame system, providing intricate detail and extensive articulation. Assembly requires precision and patience.

Required Tools:

• Nippers/Side Cutters: For cleanly detaching parts from the runners.
• Hobby Knife/X-Acto Knife: For trimming nubs and cleaning part edges.
• Tweezers: Essential for applying small decals and stickers.
• Cutting Mat: To protect your work surface.

General Assembly Steps:

1. Review Instructions: Familiarize yourself with the included pictorial instructions before starting.
2. Inner Frame Assembly: Begin by assembling the pre-molded inner frame. Handle with care as some joints can be delicate.

3. Armor Part Attachment: Attach the external armor pieces to the completed inner frame. Ensure all parts snap securely into place.
4. Weapon and Accessory Assembly: Assemble the various weapons and accessories, such as the beam rifle, anti-ship sword, and shield.

5. Decal/Sticker Application: Apply the included decals and stickers using tweezers for precision. Some stickers are very small and require careful handling. For curved surfaces, consider cutting larger stickers into smaller sections to prevent peeling.

Posing and Display

The RG Destiny Gundam offers extensive articulation for dynamic posing. Carefully manipulate joints to achieve desired stances.

• Joint Movement: Gently move joints to test their range of motion. Avoid excessive force to prevent breakage.
• Weapon Handling: Attach weapons securely to the designated hands or mounting points. Note that some larger weapons may affect balance.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Dust your model regularly with a soft brush or compressed air to prevent accumulation. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Handling: Always handle the model by its main body or sturdy sections. Avoid gripping small, delicate parts.
• Storage: Store the model in a stable, dust-free environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prevent material degradation and discoloration.

Troubleshooting

Loose Backpack Weapons or Armor:

Some parts, particularly backpack weapons or chest/waist sections, may become loose. Ensure they are fully clicked into place. If persistent, a small amount of hobby-grade cement (applied sparingly to non-moving parts) or clear nail polish on the peg can improve friction, but use with extreme caution to avoid fusing moving parts.

Stickers Peeling or Not Sticking:

Small stickers, especially on curved surfaces, may peel. Use tweezers for precise application. For better adhesion on curves, consider cutting larger stickers into smaller segments. A clear topcoat (hobby-grade) can help seal stickers in place after application.

Fragile Joints:

The inner frame, while detailed, can have delicate joints. If a joint feels too stiff, do not force it. Gently work it back and forth to loosen it. If a part breaks, hobby-grade plastic cement can be used for repair, but mobility may be compromised.
