Setup

1. Power Connection

1. Uncoil the AC power cord completely.
2. Plug the AC power cord into a standard 120V AC wall outlet.
3. The unit will power on, and the display will show the time.

2. Battery Backup Installation (Optional)

For uninterrupted timekeeping and alarm settings during power outages, install a 9-volt battery (not included) in the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit.

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the clock radio.

3. Setting the Current Time

1. Press and hold the SET TIME button. The hour digits will begin to flash.
2. While holding SET TIME, press the HOUR + button repeatedly to advance the hour. Observe the PM indicator for correct AM/PM setting.
3. Release the SET TIME button briefly, then press and hold it again. The minute digits will begin to flash.
4. While holding SET TIME, press the MINUTE + button repeatedly to advance the minutes.
5. Release the SET TIME button to confirm the time setting.

Operating Instructions

1. Radio Operation

• Turning On/Off: Press the ON/OFF button to turn the radio on or off.
• Selecting Band: Press and hold the AM/FM button to switch between AM and FM bands.
• Tuning: Use the TUNE + or TUNE - buttons to manually tune to a desired station. Press and hold to auto-scan for the next available station.

   • Press the BEEP/MUSIC/OFF button (for AL1 or AL2) repeatedly to cycle through: BEEP (alarm tone), MUSIC (radio), or OFF (alarm disabled). The corresponding indicator (BEEP or MUSIC) will light up on the display.

3. Snooze Function

When an alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE button to temporarily silence the alarm for approximately 9 minutes. The alarm will sound again after the snooze period.

4. Sleep Timer

The sleep timer allows you to fall asleep to the radio, which will automatically turn off after a set period.

1. While the radio is playing, press the SLEEP button. The display will show the sleep time (e.g., 90 minutes).
2. Press SLEEP repeatedly to cycle through available sleep times (e.g., 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, or OFF).
3. The radio will play for the selected duration and then automatically turn off.
