Setup
Before first use, clean all parts that will come into contact with food. Ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, flat, and dry surface.
Initial Assembly:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Clean: Wash the mixing bowl, splash guard, and all attachments (dough hook, flat beater, whisk, blender jug, meat grinder parts) in warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The motor base should only be wiped with a damp cloth.
- Position: Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and stable countertop. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Attach Mixing Bowl: Place the stainless steel mixing bowl onto the base, aligning the grooves, and turn clockwise until it locks securely into place.
- Install Attachment: Lift the head of the food processor. Select the desired attachment (dough hook, flat beater, or whisk) and insert it into the attachment shaft, pushing upwards and turning slightly until it clicks into place. Lower the head until it locks.
- Attach Splash Guard: If desired, place the splash guard over the mixing bowl before lowering the head.
Operating Instructions
Using the Mixer Function:
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged.
- Follow the "Initial Assembly" steps to set up the mixing bowl and desired attachment.
- Add ingredients to the mixing bowl. Do not overfill.
- Lower the head of the food processor until it locks.
- Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet.
- Turn the speed control dial to the desired setting (1-6). Use lower speeds for gentle mixing and higher speeds for whipping or beating.
- For short bursts of maximum power, turn the dial to the "PULSE" setting and hold. Release to stop.
- When finished, turn the speed dial to "0" (off) and unplug the appliance.
- Lift the head, remove the attachment, and then remove the mixing bowl.
Using the Blender Function:
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged.
- Remove the mixing bowl and any mixer attachments.
- Assemble the glass blender jug by ensuring the blade assembly is securely attached to the base of the jug.
- Add ingredients to the blender jug. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
- Place the lid securely on the blender jug.
- Place the assembled blender jug onto the designated blender port on top of the motor base, turning clockwise to lock it into place.
