Setup

- Drip Tray Installation: Slide the integrated drip tray into its designated slot at the front of the unit.

Operating Instructions
General Operation
- Preheating: Plug the Griddler into a standard electrical outlet. The "Power On" indicator light will illuminate. Allow the unit to preheat until the "Ready to Cook" indicator light turns green.
- Food Placement: Carefully place food onto the preheated cooking surface.
- Cooking: Cook food according to recipe or desired doneness. The floating hinge will adjust to the thickness of your food.
- Removal: Use heat-resistant, non-metallic utensils to remove cooked food.

Panini Press / Contact Grill Mode
This mode is ideal for grilling sandwiches, burgers, chicken, and thin cuts of meat, cooking both sides simultaneously.
- Ensure the unit is in the closed position.
- Preheat the Griddler until the "Ready to Cook" light is green.
- Place food on the bottom grill plate and gently lower the top plate.
- The floating hinge will adapt to the food's thickness.

Open Grill / Griddle Mode
To use the Griddler as an open grill or griddle, press the hinge release button on the right side of the unit and gently push the top cover back until it lies flat, doubling your cooking surface. This is suitable for cooking larger quantities or items like pancakes, eggs, or multiple pieces of meat.
- Press the hinge release button located on the right side of the unit.
- Gently push the top cover back until it rests flat, creating two open cooking surfaces.
- Preheat the Griddler until the "Ready to Cook" light is green.
- Place food on both cooking surfaces as desired.

Maintenance and Cleaning
- Cool Down: Always unplug the Griddler and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

- Removable Plates: Press the plate release buttons to remove the grill plates. Wash them in warm, soapy water or place them in the dishwasher. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as these can damage the nonstick coating.
- Base and Housing: Wipe the exterior of the Griddler with a soft, damp cloth. Never immerse the base in water or other liquids.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing. The Griddler can be stored in its closed position.
Troubleshooting
