Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions when using this appliance to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury. This unit uses R290a refrigerant, which is flammable. Ensure proper ventilation and avoid ignition sources. This product can expose you to chemicals including Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP), which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure the unit is connected to a properly grounded electrical outlet with the correct voltage (115V). Do not use extension cords.
- Ventilation: Maintain adequate clearance around the unit for proper airflow and heat dissipation.
- Flammable Materials: Do not store explosive substances or flammable materials inside or near the unit.
- Children: Keep children away from the appliance.
Unpacking and Setup
Unpacking
- Carefully remove all packaging materials, including tape and protective film.
- Inspect the merchandiser for any shipping damage. Report any damage immediately to the carrier.
- Remove all internal packing materials, shelves, and accessories.
Placement
Place the merchandiser on a firm, level surface capable of supporting its weight when fully loaded. Ensure the unit is not exposed to direct sunlight or placed near heat-generating appliances. Allow at least 4 inches of clearance from walls and other objects for proper ventilation of the condenser unit.
Initial Cleaning
Before first use, clean the interior and exterior of the merchandiser with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Ensure the unit is completely dry before plugging it in.

Operating Instructions
Power Connection
Plug the merchandiser into a dedicated 115V, 60Hz, 15A grounded electrical outlet. Avoid using multi-outlet adapters or extension cords.
Temperature Control
The unit is equipped with a digital thermostat and LED display for precise temperature control. The recommended operating temperature range for optimum preservation of foods and beverages is 33-41°F (0.5-5°C). Refer to the digital display to monitor the internal temperature. Consult the separate digital controller manual (if provided) for detailed instructions on setting and adjusting the temperature.
Loading the Merchandiser
Arrange products on the adjustable wire shelves, ensuring not to block the internal airflow vents. Overloading the unit or blocking airflow can impair cooling efficiency. Allow sufficient space between items for proper air circulation.
Maintenance
Regular Cleaning
- Interior: Clean the interior surfaces and shelves regularly with a mild, non-abrasive detergent and warm water. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly to prevent odors and maintain hygiene.
- Exterior: Wipe down the black baked enamel steel exterior with a soft cloth and mild cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners that may damage the finish.
- Glass Door: Use a glass cleaner for the double-pane glass door to ensure clear visibility.
Condenser Coil Cleaning
The condenser coils should be cleaned every 3-6 months, or more frequently in dusty environments. Accumulated dust and debris on the coils can reduce cooling efficiency and increase energy consumption. Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a stiff brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the condenser fins.
Gasket Inspection
Regularly inspect the magnetic door gaskets for cracks, tears, or signs of wear. Damaged gaskets can lead to air leaks, reducing efficiency. Clean gaskets with warm, soapy water to maintain their flexibility and sealing ability.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
