2. Preparation for Use

  1. Hand Hygiene: Always wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after inserting or removing a tampon.
  2. Unwrap: Remove the tampon from its individual wrapper. Ensure the withdrawal string is visible and securely attached.
  3. Positioning: Find a comfortable position. This could be sitting on the toilet with knees apart, standing with one foot on a raised surface, or squatting. Relax your body to facilitate easier insertion.

3. Operating Instructions (Insertion)

Follow these steps for proper tampon insertion:

  1. Hold the applicator firmly at the grip rings with your thumb and middle finger.
  2. With your free hand, gently separate the labia.
  3. Position the rounded tip of the applicator at the opening of your vagina, aiming slightly downward and backward towards your lower back.
  4. Gently slide the outer applicator barrel into your vagina until your fingers touch your body.
  5. Using your index finger, push the inner applicator plunger completely into the outer barrel. This will release the tampon into the correct position.
  6. Gently remove both parts of the applicator. The withdrawal string should remain outside your body.

Usage Duration: Tampons should be changed every 4 to 8 hours. Never wear a single tampon for more than 8 hours.

4. Maintenance and Disposal

To remove the tampon, gently pull the withdrawal string. If you experience difficulty, relax and try again. Once removed, wrap the used tampon in toilet paper and dispose of it in a waste receptacle. Do not flush tampons down the toilet as they can cause plumbing issues.

Store unused tampons in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture, to maintain their integrity.

5. Important Safety Information and Warnings

Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) Warning: Tampons are associated with Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS), a rare but serious disease that may cause death. Read and save the enclosed information about TSS. The risk of TSS increases with higher absorbency. To reduce your risk, use the lowest absorbency that meets your needs and change tampons regularly (every 4 to 8 hours).

General Warnings:

  • For external use only.
  • If irritation occurs, please discontinue use.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
