1. Product Overview

This COREBAY Ceiling Fan Remote Control and Receiver Kit provides convenient wireless operation for your ceiling fan. 2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation

  1. Disconnect Power: Before beginning, ensure the power to the ceiling fan is turned OFF at the circuit breaker.
  2. Set DIP Switches:

    Locate the DIP switches on both the remote control transmitter and the receiver unit. These are small switches numbered 1-4. Ensure that the switches on both the remote and the receiver are set to the exact same ON/OFF positions. This synchronizes the remote with the receiver.

  3. Install Receiver:

    Carefully insert the receiver unit into the canopy of the ceiling fan. Ensure it fits without pinching any wires.

  4. Wire Connections:

    Follow the wiring diagram provided. Use the included wire nuts to secure all connections. Ensure wires are correctly matched (e.g., Live, Neutral, Fan, Light).

    • Black Wire (AC IN L) from Receiver to Black (Live) from Ceiling.
    • White Wire (AC IN N) from Receiver to White (Neutral) from Ceiling.
    • Blue Wire (FOR LIGHT) from Receiver to Blue (Light) from Fan.
    • Black Wire (FOR FAN) from Receiver to Black (Fan) from Fan.
    • White Wire (FOR FAN) from Receiver to White (Neutral) from Fan.
  5. Install Remote Battery: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert one 9V battery (not included), observing polarity.
  6. Restore Power: Once all connections are secure and the canopy is reassembled, restore power at the circuit breaker.

5. Operating Instructions

The remote control features dedicated buttons for fan speed and light control:

  • LIGHT/DIMMER: Press to turn the light ON or OFF. Press and hold to dim incandescent lights. Note: For LED lights, this button typically only controls ON/OFF functionality, not dimming.
  • HI: Sets the fan speed to High.
  • MED: Sets the fan speed to Medium.
  • LO: Sets the fan speed to Low.
  • FAN OFF: Turns the fan OFF.

The remote operates within a range of up to 60 feet (approximately 18 meters), providing flexible control from various points in a room.

6. Troubleshooting
