Important Safety Instructions

- Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important that the oven door closes properly and that there is no damage to the: (1) door (bent), (2) hinges and latches (broken or loosened), (3) door seals and sealing surfaces.

- Supervise children closely when the oven is in use. The appliance features a child safety lock.
Setup and Installation
Unpacking
Carefully remove the oven from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, including any protective film or tape. Check the oven for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer service.
Placement
Place the oven on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the oven. Maintain a minimum clearance of 10 cm (4 inches) at the rear, 20 cm (8 inches) on the sides, and 30 cm (12 inches) above the oven for proper airflow. This is a countertop installation type appliance.

Power Connection
Plug the oven into a dedicated 230 Volt, 50 Hz, AC power outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapters. The oven consumes 900 Watts of power.
Initial Setup
- Place the turntable ring and glass tray inside the oven cavity.
- Close the oven door.
- Set the digital clock to the current time. Refer to the "Operating Instructions" section for clock setting details.
Operating Instructions
The Bajaj PX142 features a combination of Tact Buttons and a Jog Dial for control, along with a touchscreen interface.
Basic Microwave Cooking
- Place food in a microwave-safe container on the glass tray.
- Close the door securely.
- Press the "Microwave" button.
- Use the Jog Dial to select the desired power level (11 power levels available).
- Use the Jog Dial to set the cooking time.
- Press "Start" to begin cooking. The oven will emit a cooking completion alarm when finished.
Convection Cooking
Convection mode uses a fan to circulate hot air, ideal for baking and roasting.
- Place food on the metal rack (if provided) or a heat-resistant dish.
- Press the "Convection" button.
- Use the Jog Dial to set the desired temperature.
- Use the Jog Dial to set the cooking time.

Deodorizer Timer
Use the deodorizer function to remove lingering odors from the oven cavity. Set the timer in minutes using the Jog Dial after selecting the deodorizer function.
Care and Maintenance
Cleaning the Oven Interior
- Always unplug the oven before cleaning.
- Wipe the interior cavity, including the stainless steel inner material, with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each use.
- For stubborn stains, place a bowl of water with lemon juice inside and microwave for a few minutes to loosen residue, then wipe clean.
- Clean the glass tray and roller ring with warm, soapy water. They are dishwasher safe.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
Cleaning the Oven Exterior
- Wipe the exterior surfaces, including the steel/mirror finish body, with a soft, damp cloth.
- Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the control panel. Apply cleaner to a cloth first.
