Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, installation, and maintenance of your Waterlogic WL2500 Tabletop Water Cooler. Safety Instructions

  • Always connect the unit to a grounded electrical outlet.

Setup

Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the water cooler from its packaging.
  2. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not proceed with installation and contact your supplier.
  3. Remove all protective films and packing materials.

Placement

  • Place the unit on a flat, stable, and level surface capable of supporting its weight when full.
  • Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation (at least 10 cm from walls).
  • Locate the unit near a grounded electrical outlet and a cold water supply line.
  • Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or near heat-generating appliances.

Water Connection

  1. Connect the water inlet hose to a cold potable water supply using the appropriate fittings. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.
  2. Flush the water lines before connecting to the unit to remove any debris.
  3. Connect the other end of the water inlet hose to the designated inlet port on the back of the WL2500.

Power Connection

  1. Once water connections are secure and checked for leaks, plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
  2. Allow the unit to stand for at least 30 minutes before turning it on to allow refrigerants to settle.

Operating Instructions

Initial Start-up

  1. After connecting power, turn on the main power switch, usually located on the back or side of the unit.
  2. Allow the unit to fill with water. You may hear water flowing into the internal tanks.
  3. Dispense a few cups of water from both the chilled and hot (if applicable) taps to prime the system and remove any air. Discard this initial water.
  4. Allow approximately 15-30 minutes for the chilled water to reach optimal temperature and 5-10 minutes for hot water (if applicable).

Dispensing Water

  • Place a cup or container under the desired dispense nozzle.
  • Press the corresponding button or lever for chilled or hot water.
  • Release the button/lever once the desired amount of water is dispensed.
  • For hot water, exercise caution as the water is very hot.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Drip Tray

  • The drip tray should be emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent overflow and bacterial growth.
  • Remove the drip tray, empty any accumulated water, and wash it with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry before replacing.

Exterior Cleaning

  • Wipe the exterior surfaces of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Filter Replacement (if applicable)

  • Refer to your specific filter model's instructions for replacement frequency and procedure.
