  • Timer Recording: Press the TIMER PROG button on the remote. Use the navigation buttons to set the start time, end time, channel, and recording date/frequency. Confirm your settings to schedule the recording. The ATSC tuner allows recording even when you are away.
  • The 500GB HDD can record up to 604 hours of content at lower quality settings. Higher quality settings will reduce total recording time.

Recording to DVD

  • Insert a blank recordable DVD (DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW) into the DVD tray.
  • Follow the on-screen prompts to select recording mode and quality.
  • You can record directly from a live TV broadcast or dub content from the HDD to DVD.

Dubbing from HDD to DVD

  • Select the program you wish to dub from the HDD list.
  • Press the DUBBING button on the remote control and follow the on-screen instructions to transfer the content to a blank DVD.

To play back recorded content or commercial DVDs:

  • HDD Playback: Press the TITLE button on the remote to access the HDD title list. Select the desired program and press PLAY.
  • DVD Playback: Insert a DVD into the tray. Playback will usually start automatically. If not, press the PLAY button.
  • Use the PLAY, PAUSE, STOP, FAST FORWARD, REWIND, and SKIP buttons on the remote for playback control.

  • Editing Titles: Access the HDD title list to rename or delete recorded programs.
  • Finalizing DVDs: For recorded DVDs to be playable on other DVD players, they must be finalized. Refer to the on-screen menu for the finalization process.
