Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the speakers from their packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage.
  2. Placement: Position the speakers in your desired location. For optimal sound, ensure they are placed symmetrically and at an appropriate distance from walls. The speakers are designed for tabletop mounting or can be adapted for other mounting types.
  3. Amplifier Connection: These are passive speakers and require an external amplifier (not included) for operation. Connect the speaker terminals to the corresponding output terminals on your amplifier using appropriate speaker wire. Ensure correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative).
  4. Power: Ensure your amplifier is connected to a suitable power source and is turned off before making any connections.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: After all connections are secure, turn on your amplifier.
  2. Volume Control: Start with the amplifier's volume at its lowest setting. Gradually increase the volume to a comfortable listening level. Avoid excessively high volumes to prevent speaker damage.
  3. Tone Adjustment: The rear of the speaker features a switch for tone adjustment (Flat/Treble). Experiment with this setting to match your audio preference and room acoustics.
  4. Microphone Use: When using microphones with the system, the built-in anti-howling technology helps reduce feedback. Adjust microphone gain on your amplifier or mixer carefully.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker cabinets. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the finish.
  • Environment: Keep speakers away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, and dust. Ensure adequate ventilation around the speakers.
  • Connections: Periodically check all cable connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
