2. Setup Instructions

Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure you have the main sprinkler unit, the motion sensor, and the ground stake.
Install Batteries: Locate the battery compartment on the motion sensor unit. Insert 4 AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
Assemble Unit: Attach the motion sensor unit to the sprinkler pole. Securely connect the sprinkler head to the top of the pole.
Attach Ground Stake: Connect the heavy-duty metal dual-step spike to the bottom of the sprinkler pole.
Position the Sprinkler: Choose a location in your yard or garden that requires protection. Insert the ground stake firmly into the soil. Ensure the unit is stable and upright.
Connect Water Hose: Attach a standard garden hose to the inlet connection at the base of the unit. Ensure a tight, leak-free connection.
Adjust Detection Angle: The motion sensor can be adjusted to control its detection angle. Rotate the sensor housing to cover the desired area.

3. Operating the Yard Enforcer

The Orbit Yard Enforcer offers multiple operating modes and adjustable settings to customize its performance for your specific needs.

3.1 Operating Modes:

Use the main dial on the sensor unit to select one of the following modes:

OFF: The unit is powered off and will not activate.
DAY: The motion sensor is active only during daylight hours.
NIGHT: The motion sensor is active only during nighttime hours.
ALWAYS: The motion sensor is active 24 hours a day.

3.2 Adjustable Settings:

Fine-tune the sprinkler's performance using the adjustment buttons:

30 Min Water Cycle: Press this button to activate a continuous 30-minute watering cycle, independent of motion detection. This is useful for regular garden irrigation.

3.3 Animal Detection:

The heat- and motion-activated sensor is designed to detect various animal sizes. For optimal detection of smaller animals like rabbits or cats, ensure the sensor is positioned lower to the ground. For larger animals like deer, a higher sensor position is effective.

4. Maintenance

Battery Replacement: Replace the 4 AA batteries when the unit's performance diminishes or the indicator light (if present) signals low power.
Sensor Cleaning: Periodically wipe the motion sensor lens with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, or debris that may obstruct detection.
Nozzle Cleaning: If water spray becomes uneven, check the sprinkler nozzle for any blockages and clear them carefully.
Winterization: Before freezing temperatures, disconnect the unit from the hose, drain all water, and store it indoors in a dry, protected area to prevent damage.

5. Troubleshooting
