Introduction
The Pyle PTCDS7UIB Vintage Turntable Stereo System combines classic audio playback with modern digital capabilities. This system allows you to enjoy vinyl records, cassette tapes, CDs, AM/FM radio, and stream music wirelessly via Bluetooth. Additionally, it features the ability to convert analog audio sources (vinyl, cassette, CD, Bluetooth) into digital MP3 files directly to a USB flash drive or SD memory card.

Safety Instructions
- Power Source: Ensure the unit is connected to an AC 110V/220V power supply as indicated on the rear panel.
- Ventilation: Do not block ventilation openings. Allow adequate space around the unit for proper airflow.
- Water and Moisture: Do not expose the unit to rain, moisture, or dripping/splashing liquids. Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the unit.

Setup
1. Unpacking
Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Retain the packaging materials for future transport or storage.
2. Placement
Place the unit on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or vibration. Ensure there is enough space around the unit for proper ventilation.

3. Power Connection
Locate the power cord on the rear of the unit. Connect the power cord to a suitable AC outlet (110V/220V switchable). Ensure the voltage switch on the rear panel matches your local power supply.

4. External Audio Output (Optional)
If you wish to connect the system to an external amplifier or powered speakers, use RCA cables (not included) to connect the 'LINE OUT' jacks on the rear panel to the audio input of your external system.
Operating Instructions
1. Front Panel Controls Overview
Familiarize yourself with the controls on the front panel:

- POWER/VOL: Rotary knob for turning the unit ON/OFF and adjusting volume.
- SOURCE: Button to select input source (PHONO, CD/USB/SD, TAPE, AUX, TUNER, Bluetooth).
- REC: Record button for MP3 encoding.
- X-BASS ON/OFF: Button to activate or deactivate extra bass enhancement.
- TUNING: Rotary knob for AM/FM radio frequency selection.
- LCD Display: Shows current mode, track information, and radio frequency.
- CD Tray: Front-loading slot for compact discs.
- USB Port: For connecting USB flash drives.
- SD Card Slot: For inserting SD memory cards.
- Headphone Jack (3.5mm): For private listening.
- Playback Controls: Buttons for Play/Pause, Stop, Skip Forward/Backward.
2. Turntable Operation
- Lift the collapsible top lid to reveal the turntable.
- Place a vinyl record on the turntable platter.
- Select the appropriate speed (33-1/3, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch located on the turntable deck. For 45 RPM records, place the included 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle.
- Move the tone arm from its rest and gently place the stylus onto the record's groove.
- Adjust the volume using the POWER/VOL knob.
- At the end of the record, the turntable will automatically stop (if Auto Stop is enabled on the rear panel). Return the tone arm to its rest.

3. CD Player Operation
- Press the SOURCE button until 'CD' appears on the LCD display.
- Insert a CD into the front-loading CD tray with the label side facing up. The disc will be drawn in automatically.
- The system will read the disc, and playback will begin automatically. Use the playback control buttons (Play/Pause, Skip Forward/Backward) to manage playback.
4. Cassette Player Operation
- Press the SOURCE button until 'TAPE' appears on the LCD display.
- Insert a cassette tape into the side-panel cassette slot.
- Playback will begin automatically. Use the cassette player controls (typically located near the slot) for Play, Fast Forward, Rewind, and Stop.
5. AM/FM Radio Operation
- Press the SOURCE button until 'TUNER' appears on the LCD display.
- Rotate the TUNING knob to select your desired AM or FM radio station. The frequency will be displayed on the LCD.
- Extend the FM wire antenna (located on the rear panel) for better FM reception. For AM, rotate the unit for optimal reception.
6. Bluetooth Connectivity
- Press the SOURCE button until 'BT' or 'Bluetooth' appears on the LCD display. The unit will enter pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, computer), search for available Bluetooth devices.
- Select 'Pyle Audio' or similar from the list to pair. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone.
- Play music from your device. Audio will stream through the PTCDS7UIB speakers.
7. USB/SD Card Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD memory card into the SD card slot.
- Press the SOURCE button until 'USB' or 'SD' appears on the LCD display.
- The system will automatically detect and begin playing MP3 audio files. Use the playback control buttons to navigate tracks and folders.
8. Auxiliary Input
- Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the 3.5mm AUX input jack using an audio cable (not included).
- Press the SOURCE button until 'AUX' appears on the LCD display.
- Play audio from your connected device.

9. Vinyl-to-MP3 Recording
This feature allows you to convert audio from vinyl, cassette, CD, or Bluetooth to MP3 files on a USB flash drive or SD card.
- Insert a USB flash drive or SD card (up to 16GB) into its respective slot.
- Select the desired audio source (PHONO, TAPE, CD, or BT) using the SOURCE button.
- Begin playback of the audio you wish to record.
- Press the REC button on the front panel. The LCD display will indicate recording is in progress.
- To stop recording, press the REC button again. The recorded MP3 file will be saved to the USB drive or SD card.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Unit
- Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
- For the turntable lid, use a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
2. Stylus Care
- The stylus (needle) is a delicate component. Handle it with care.
- Clean the stylus periodically using a soft brush, brushing gently from back to front.
- Replace the stylus when you notice a degradation in sound quality or visible wear.
3. Record Care
- Keep records clean and free of dust. Use a record brush before each play.
- Store records vertically in their sleeves to prevent warping.
Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the unit and a working wall outlet. Check the voltage selector switch on the rear panel.
- No Sound: Check the volume level. Ensure the correct source is selected. If connected to external speakers, verify their power and connections.
- Turntable Not Spinning: Ensure the unit is powered on and the source is set to PHONO. Check if the auto-stop switch on the rear is in the correct position.
- Skipping Records: Ensure the record is clean and free of scratches. Place the unit on a stable, level surface to minimize vibrations.
- CD Not Reading/Playing: Ensure the CD is clean and inserted correctly (label side up). Try a different CD.
- Poor Radio Reception: Extend the FM wire antenna fully. For AM, try rotating the unit for better signal.
- Bluetooth Pairing Issues: Ensure the unit is in Bluetooth mode and your device's Bluetooth is enabled and searching. Move your device closer to the unit.
- USB/SD Recording Issues: Ensure the USB drive or SD card is formatted correctly (FAT32) and has sufficient free space (max 16GB).
