Setup

Operating Instructions

1. Prepare the Applicator: Carefully remove a tip scabbard from one of the stainless steel needles. Attach the needle securely to the nozzle of the Liquid Bearings bottle.
2. Locate Lubrication Points: Identify the bearings or bushings on your fan's motor. These are the points where the rotating shaft meets the stationary housing.
3. Apply the Lubricant: Using the fine needle, apply 1-2 drops of Liquid Bearings directly onto each lubrication point. For heavily gummed or seized mechanisms, a slightly larger application may be beneficial. The oil is designed to penetrate through existing sticky deposits.
4. Distribute the Oil: After application, gently rotate the fan blades or mechanism by hand to help distribute the lubricant evenly. If possible, run the fan at a low setting for a few minutes to further aid distribution.

Apply a few more drops and operate the fan for an extended period.
• Oil Not Reaching Bearing: Some fan designs have enclosed bearings that are difficult to access. Consult your fan's specific manual if available. The fine needle applicator is designed to reach small openings.
