4. Setup

Follow these steps for the initial setup of your Prestige Wet Grinder:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Clean: Wash the stainless steel drum, grinding stones, lid, and attachments with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  3. Placement: Place the main grinder unit on a clean, dry, and stable surface, ensuring it is near a power outlet.
  4. Assemble Drum: Place the grinding stones inside the stainless steel drum.
  5. Position Drum: Carefully place the assembled drum onto the motor shaft in the main unit. Ensure it is seated correctly.
  6. Secure Lid: Place the transparent lid over the drum.

5. Operating Instructions

Operating your wet grinder is straightforward. Follow these steps for optimal results:

5.1 Grinding Batter

  1. Ensure the grinder is properly assembled and plugged into a 230V, 50Hz power supply.
  2. Add the pre-soaked ingredients (e.g., rice, lentils) and a small amount of water into the stainless steel drum. Do not overfill beyond the 2-liter capacity.
  3. Secure the transparent lid.
  4. Switch on the grinder using the ON/OFF button. The motor operates at 200 RPM.
  5. Allow the ingredients to grind until the desired consistency is achieved. Add water gradually if needed through the lid opening.
  6. The operating noise levels are typically between 50-60 dB.
  7. Once grinding is complete, switch off the grinder and unplug it.

5.2 Using Attachments

  • Coconut Scraper: Replace the grinding stones with the coconut scraper attachment. Secure it properly. Hold the coconut half firmly against the rotating scraper to extract coconut gratings.
  • Atta Kneader: Replace the grinding stones with the atta kneader attachment. Add flour and water in appropriate proportions. Switch on the grinder to knead dough.
