Installation Guide
Follow these steps to properly install your SBU Jet Ski Cover:
- Prepare the Jet Ski: Ensure the jet ski is clean and dry before covering to prevent moisture trapping and potential damage. Remove any sharp objects or accessories that could tear the cover.
- Unfold the Cover: Lay the cover flat on the ground near the jet ski, identifying the front and rear sections. The lighter grey section typically indicates the front.
- Position the Cover: Drape the cover over the jet ski, starting from the front. Align the front of the cover with the bow of the jet ski.
- Pull Down and Adjust: Pull the cover down evenly over both sides of the jet ski, working your way towards the rear. Ensure the elastic hemline fits snugly around the bottom edge of the watercraft.
- Secure Straps: Locate the detachable side-release strap buckles. Pass the straps under the jet ski and connect them to the corresponding buckles on the opposite side. Tighten the straps to secure the cover firmly, preventing wind lofting during storage or trailering.
- Check Air Vents: Ensure the rear air vents are not obstructed. These vents are crucial for reducing moisture buildup and allowing air circulation.

Usage and Applications
The SBU Jet Ski Cover is designed for versatile use across various scenarios:
- Storage: Ideal for long-term storage, whether indoors in a garage or outdoors. It protects against dust, dirt, UV rays, and precipitation.
- Mooring: Can be used while the jet ski is moored on the water, at a dock, or on a floating jet dock. The detachable straps allow for secure mooring without needing to remove the entire cover.
- Trailering: The cover is trailerable, meaning it can remain on the jet ski while being transported on a trailer. The secure strap system and rear air vents are designed to withstand highway speeds and prevent ballooning or flapping.

Maintenance and Care
Proper maintenance will extend the life of your SBU Jet Ski Cover:
- Cleaning: Clean the cover periodically with mild soap and water. Use a soft brush or sponge to remove dirt and grime. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow it to air dry completely before folding and storing. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Always ensure the cover is completely dry before folding and storing it in the included storage bag. Storing a damp cover can lead to mildew and fabric degradation.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the cover for any signs of wear, tear, or damage to the seams and straps. Address minor issues promptly to prevent them from worsening.
- Winter Storage: The cover can serve as an alternative to shrink wrap for winterizing your personal watercraft. Its material is designed to withstand temperature extremes without cracking or disintegrating.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Cover appears loose or flaps during trailering. | Straps not sufficiently tightened; incorrect cover size. | Ensure all side-release straps are securely fastened and tightened. Verify the cover is the correct model for your jet ski. The rear air vents are designed to minimize wind lofting. |
| Moisture or mildew under the cover. | Jet ski was covered while damp; insufficient air circulation. | Always ensure the jet ski is completely dry before covering. The cover's breathable material and air vents help, but proper drying is essential. Clean any mildew with a mild solution and air dry. |
| Difficulty accessing fuel tank. | Unaware of access feature. | Utilize the integrated zippered fuel tank access door for convenient refueling without removing the entire cover. |
