Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Slow cooker does not turn on. Not plugged in; power outlet not working; control knob not set. Ensure unit is plugged into a functional outlet. Turn control knob to LOW or HIGH.
Food is not cooking properly. Lid not sealed; incorrect setting; insufficient cooking time. Ensure lid is properly seated. Verify correct setting (LOW/HIGH) and cooking duration. Avoid frequently lifting the lid.
Food is burning on the bottom. Too little liquid; cooking on HIGH for too long; stoneware not suitable for stovetop. Add more liquid if necessary. Adjust cooking time or switch to LOW setting. Ensure stoneware is only used in the heating base.
Lid leaks during transport. Lid not properly locked; gasket not seated correctly. Ensure locking clamps are fully engaged. Check that the rubber gasket is correctly positioned around the lid.
