5. Setup and Pairing

5.1. Initial Setup

  4. Once successfully paired, the i10s + aptX light will blink twice every 5 seconds.
  5. The transmitter remembers previously paired devices and will automatically re-connect when in range and both devices are powered on.

Note: The i10s + aptX supports pairing with receivers using common pin codes such as '0000', '1111', '1234', or '8888'.

6. Operating Instructions

Once paired, the KOKKIA i10s + aptX operates automatically. Simply play audio on your connected iPod, iPhone, or iPad, and the sound will be wirelessly transmitted to your paired Bluetooth receiver.

  • Audio Playback: Control playback (play, pause, skip tracks) directly from your iPod/iPhone/iPad or, if supported, from your Bluetooth receiver.
  • Volume Control: Adjust volume directly on your iPod/iPhone/iPad or your Bluetooth receiver.
  • Power Management: The transmitter draws power directly from your Apple device. It will power on when connected and power off when disconnected or when the Apple device is powered off.

7. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your KOKKIA i10s + aptX transmitter, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the transmitter. Avoid using liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the transmitter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Handling: Handle the device with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts. Do not force the transmitter into the dock connector.
