1.3 Connecting to a Television

  1. Power Connection: Plug the VCR's power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
  2. Audio/Video Connection (RCA):
    • Connect the yellow RCA cable from the VCR's "VIDEO OUT" jack to the "VIDEO IN" jack on your television.
    • Connect the white RCA cable from the VCR's "AUDIO L OUT" jack to the "AUDIO L IN" jack on your television.
    • Connect the red RCA cable from the VCR's "AUDIO R OUT" jack to the "AUDIO R IN" jack on your television.

    Note: If your TV only has a single audio input, use the white (left) audio cable.

  3. Coaxial Connection (Optional): If you are connecting an antenna or cable directly to the VCR, connect the coaxial cable to the "RF IN" jack on the VCR. Then, connect a second coaxial cable from the VCR's "RF OUT" jack to the "RF IN" jack on your television.
  4. Select Input: Turn on your television and select the appropriate input source (e.g., AV1, Video 1, HDMI, or TV/Antenna channel 3 or 4 if using coaxial) that corresponds to the VCR's connection.
