Setup
Setting the Time (Analog Displays)
The Diesel DZ7261 features three analog time displays and one digital display. Each analog display can be set independently for different time zones.
- Identify the crown and pushers for each analog time zone. The main crown (usually at 3 o'clock position) controls the primary time display (Time 1).
- Gently pull out the crown associated with the desired analog display to the time-setting position.
- Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
- Once the time is set, push the crown back into its normal operating position.
- Repeat this process for other analog time displays as needed.
Setting the Time (Digital Display - Time 2)
The digital display (Time 2) is typically controlled by specific pushers on the side of the watch.
- Locate the pushers near the digital display.
- Press the appropriate pusher (refer to the watch's specific button layout, often indicated by small labels or symbols) to enter time-setting mode for the digital display.
- Use the other pushers to adjust the hours and minutes.
- Press the setting mode pusher again to confirm and exit.
Setting the Date
The date display is located at the 3 o'clock position on the main dial.
- Pull the main crown (for Time 1) out to the first click position (if applicable, some watches have a separate date setting position).
- Rotate the crown to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.
- Once the correct date is displayed, push the crown back into its normal operating position.

Operating the Chronograph
The chronograph function allows you to measure elapsed time. The DZ7261 features three chronograph sub-dials: 60-second, 30-minute, and 24-hour.
- Start: Press the top pusher (usually located at 2 o'clock) to start the chronograph. The chronograph second hand will begin to move.
- Stop: Press the top pusher again to stop the chronograph. The elapsed time will be indicated by the chronograph hands on their respective sub-dials.
- Reset: After stopping the chronograph, press the bottom pusher (usually located at 4 o'clock) to reset all chronograph hands to their zero positions.
- Intermediate Time (Split Time): Some chronographs allow for split time measurement. If your model supports this, press the bottom pusher while the chronograph is running to display an intermediate time without stopping the main timing. Press it again to catch up to the running time.

Maintenance
Water Resistance
Your Diesel DZ7261 watch is water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet). This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes of water or brief immersion in water, such as during rain or hand washing.
- Do NOT wear the watch while showering, bathing, swimming, or diving.
- Do NOT operate the crown or pushers when the watch is wet or submerged in water.
- If the watch is exposed to saltwater, rinse it gently with fresh water and dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Cleaning Your Watch
To maintain the appearance of your watch:
- Wipe the case and crystal with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth regularly.
- For the leather strap, avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct sunlight, and harsh chemicals. Clean with a damp cloth and allow to air dry.
Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by 1 LR44 battery (included). When the watch stops or the digital display fades, it indicates that the battery needs replacement. It is highly recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watchmaker or authorized service center to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

Troubleshooting
- Watch Not Running:
Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement. Refer to the "Battery Replacement" section.
- Time/Date Incorrect:
Ensure the crown is pulled out to the correct position for setting time or date. Follow the "Setting the Time" and "Setting the Date" instructions carefully.
- Chronograph Hands Not Resetting to Zero:
This can sometimes be corrected by performing a chronograph reset procedure. Consult a professional watchmaker if the issue persists after following the operating instructions.
- Condensation Inside Crystal:
If you notice condensation under the crystal, it indicates a breach in the watch's water resistance. Take the watch to an authorized service center immediately to prevent further damage to the movement.
