1. Introduction

3. Setup

4. Operating Instructions

1. Prepare the Workpiece: Ensure the material you intend to mark is stable and securely placed on a flat, sturdy surface.
2. Select Impact Force: Adjust the red cap to the desired impact force (refer to Section 3). A stronger force is generally needed for harder materials like metal, while a lighter force is suitable for softer materials like wood or plastic.
3. Position the Tip: Place the hardened steel tip of the center punch precisely on the spot where you wish to make an indentation. Hold the tool firmly and vertically.

4. Activate the Punch: Apply firm downward pressure on the red cap. The internal spring mechanism will compress and then release, causing the tip to strike the surface and create an indentation. You will hear a distinct click when the mechanism activates.
5. Verify Mark: Lift the punch and inspect the indentation. If a deeper mark is required, reposition the punch in the same spot and repeat the process, or adjust the impact force to a higher setting.

• Storage: Store the center punch in a dry environment to prevent rust. Keep it away from excessive moisture and corrosive substances.
• Tip Inspection: Regularly inspect the S2 steel tip for wear or damage. While designed for durability, extreme use on very hard materials may eventually dull the tip. Replacement tips are generally not available for this model, so proper use is crucial.
