Setup and Time Adjustment
To ensure accurate timekeeping and functionality, follow these steps to set up your watch:
- Setting the Time:
- Pull the crown (center knob on the side of the watch) out to position 2.
- Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the hour and minute hands to the desired time.
- Push the crown back into position 1 to start the watch.
- Setting the Date:
- Pull the crown out to position 1 (first click).
- Turn the crown clockwise to adjust the date.
- Once the correct date is displayed, push the crown back into its original position.
- Using the Chronograph (Stopwatch):
- Press the top pusher (A) to start the chronograph.
- Press the top pusher (A) again to stop the chronograph.
- Press the bottom pusher (B) to reset the chronograph hands to zero.

Operating the Watch
The Fossil Nate Chronograph Watch is designed for daily wear and features a robust construction. The unidirectional rotating bezel can be used for timing events, such as elapsed time up to 60 minutes. Align the triangle marker on the bezel with the minute hand at the start of an event, then read the elapsed time on the bezel as the minute hand progresses.

Maintenance and Care
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your Fossil watch:
- Water Resistance: This watch is water resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM). It is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming and showering. It is not suitable for diving or snorkeling. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any water exposure.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the watch case and strap. For the stainless steel bracelet, a soft brush can be used to clean between links. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Battery Replacement: The watch uses 1 Lithium Metal battery (included). Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to maintain water resistance and proper function.
- Band Adjustment: The stainless steel bracelet features a secure fold-over clasp closure. Links can be removed for a customized fit. This watch is interchangeable with all 24mm Fossil straps.
