Setup
Button Functions
- MODE Button: Cycles through the watch's various modes (Timekeeping, Databank, Calculator, World Time, Alarm, Stopwatch, Countdown Timer).
- ADJUST Button: Used to enter and exit setting modes, and to confirm settings.
- LIGHT Button: Activates the micro light for illumination of the display.
- Calculator Keypad: Used for numerical input and operations in Calculator and Databank modes.
Setting the Time and Date
- In Timekeeping Mode, press and hold the ADJUST button until the seconds digits begin to flash, indicating the setting mode.
- Press the MODE button to cycle through the setting parameters: Seconds → Hour → Minutes → Year → Month → Day → 12/24-Hour Format.
- Use the calculator keypad's number buttons (0-9) to change the flashing value. For hour/minute, use the appropriate number keys.
- Once all settings are correct, press the ADJUST button to exit the setting mode.
- The watch features an auto calendar pre-programmed until the year 2029.
Operating Instructions
Timekeeping Mode
This is the default mode, displaying the current time, day of the week, and date. You can switch between 12-hour and 24-hour formats during time setting.
Databank Mode (25 Pages)
The databank allows you to store up to 25 pages of information, typically names and telephone numbers. Each page can hold up to 8 characters for a name and 15 digits for a number.
- From Timekeeping Mode, press MODE to navigate to Databank Mode.
- To enter data, press and hold ADJUST. The cursor will flash.
- Use the calculator keypad to input characters and numbers. Use the SPACE key for spaces.
- Press MODE to switch between name and number input fields.
- Press ADJUST to save the entry.
- To recall data, use the REV/TIME and TEL/FWD buttons on the keypad to scroll through entries.
Calculator Mode (8-Digit)
The integrated 8-digit calculator performs basic arithmetic operations.
- From Timekeeping Mode, press MODE to navigate to Calculator Mode.
- Use the numerical keys (0-9) and operation keys (+, -, x, ÷) on the keypad to perform calculations.
- Press the = key to display the result.
World Time Mode
View the current time in various major cities around the world.
- From Timekeeping Mode, press MODE to navigate to World Time Mode.
- Use the REV/TIME and TEL/FWD buttons on the keypad to scroll through different city codes and their corresponding times.
Alarm Mode (Daily Alarms, Hourly Time Signal)
Set up to five independent daily alarms (AL-1 to AL-5) and activate an hourly time signal.
- From Timekeeping Mode, press MODE to navigate to Alarm Mode.
- Press MODE again to cycle through AL-1, AL-2, AL-3, AL-4, AL-5, and the Hourly Time Signal (SIG).
- To set an alarm, select the desired alarm (e.g., AL-1), then press and hold ADJUST.
- Use the numerical keys to set the alarm time. Press ADJUST to save.
- To toggle an alarm or the hourly time signal on/off, select it and press the LIGHT button.
Stopwatch Mode (1/100 Second)
Measure elapsed time with 1/100 second accuracy.
- From Timekeeping Mode, press MODE to navigate to Stopwatch Mode.
- Press the LIGHT button to start/stop the stopwatch.
- Press the ADJUST button to reset the stopwatch to zero.
Countdown Timer Mode
Set a countdown timer for specific durations.
- From Timekeeping Mode, press MODE to navigate to Countdown Timer Mode.
- Press and hold ADJUST to enter setting mode.
- Use the numerical keys to set the desired countdown time.
- Press ADJUST to save the setting.
- Press the LIGHT button to start/stop the countdown.
- When the countdown reaches zero, an alarm will sound.
Maintenance
Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by a CR1616 battery, with an approximate battery life of 2 years. When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it is time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
Note: Improper battery replacement can damage the watch and void the warranty.
Water Resistance
