1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Letscool Wireless Security Camera, Model A4. This device is designed to provide reliable surveillance for both indoor and outdoor environments, offering features such as 1080P HD video, night vision, two-way audio, and smart PIR motion detection.

• Camera Lens: Captures video footage.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Battery

Before initial use, fully charge the camera's built-in rechargeable battery. A full charge can last up to 2-5 months depending on usage (triggered within 10 times/day).

• Connect the provided USB charging cable to the camera's charging port.
• Connect the other end of the cable to a standard USB power adapter (not included).
• The status indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.

5.2 App Installation and Account Setup

The Letscool camera uses the "Adorcam" app for control and monitoring.

• Download the "Adorcam" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
• Open the app and create a new account, or log in if you already have one.

5.3 Connecting to Wi-Fi

Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4G Wi-Fi network. The camera does not support 5G Wi-Fi.

• In the Adorcam app, tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code generated by the app with the camera's lens.
• Once connected, the camera's status indicator light will change, and you will see the camera listed in your app.

5.4 Mounting the Camera

The camera is IP65 weather-resistant, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. For outdoor installation, sheltered locations like under eaves are recommended for added protection.

• Choose a suitable mounting location that provides the desired viewing angle and strong Wi-Fi signal.
• Use the provided mounting bracket as a template to mark drill holes.
• Drill holes and insert wall plugs if mounting on masonry.
• Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the screws.
• Attach the camera to the mounting bracket and adjust the angle as needed.

6. Operating the Camera

6.1 Live View and Recording

Access the live feed from your camera through the Adorcam app.

• Open the Adorcam app and select your camera from the device list.
• The live video feed will appear. From here, you can manually record video or capture screenshots.

6.2 Two-Way Audio

The camera features a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way communication.

• While in live view, tap the microphone icon in the app to speak through the camera.
• Tap the speaker icon to listen to audio from the camera's location.

6.3 PIR Motion Detection and Alerts

The camera's PIR sensor detects human and pet motion, sending alerts to your smartphone.

• Enable motion detection in the app's settings for your camera.
• Adjust sensitivity levels to minimize false alarms.
• Receive push notifications on your smartphone when motion is detected.

6.4 Night Vision

The camera automatically switches to infrared night vision in low-light conditions, providing clear black-and-white footage up to 32 feet.

• Night vision activates automatically. No manual setting is required.

Review recorded events and footage through the Adorcam app.

• Navigate to the "Playback" or "Events" section within the app.
