Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the iron from its packaging. Remove any temporary labels or protective covers.
  2. First Use Preparation: Before first use, fill the water reservoir and iron an old cloth to remove any manufacturing residues.
  3. Filling Water Reservoir: Ensure the iron is unplugged. Open the water fill cover and slowly pour tap water into the reservoir up to the 'MAX' fill line. Close the cover securely. The anti-drip system is engineered to prevent dripping by closely regulating water temperatures.
  4. Positioning: Place the iron on a stable, heat-resistant surface or an ironing board. The iron is designed with a heel rest for safe upright positioning when not actively ironing.

Operating Instructions

Temperature and Steam Control

The iron features variable steam and temperature controls, allowing you to customize settings independently for versatility across different fabric types. The temperature control dial includes recommended steam level settings for helpful guidance.

  1. Plug In: Plug the iron into a standard electrical outlet.
  2. Select Temperature: Turn the temperature control dial to the desired setting based on the fabric type. Allow the iron to heat up until the indicator light turns off, signaling it has reached the set temperature.
  3. Select Steam (Optional): For steam ironing, ensure the water reservoir is filled. Adjust the steam control lever to the desired steam level. For dry ironing, set the steam lever to the 'dry' position.
  4. Ironing: Begin ironing your garments. The heavy-duty stainless steel soleplate provides a smooth glide over all fabrics.

Using Spray Mist and Steam Burst

  • Spray Mist: Press the spray mist button to dampen stubborn wrinkles.
  • Steam Burst: For extra stubborn wrinkles, press the steam burst button. This feature works best when the iron is at a high temperature setting.

3-Way Auto Shutoff

For peace of mind, the iron will automatically power down if left inactive for 30 seconds on the soleplate or side, or after 8 minutes on its heel rest. The power light will blink to signal that the iron is going into shutoff mode. Simply move the iron to cancel the shutdown and resume operation.

Maintenance

Auto Clean System

To keep the iron at peak performance and prolong its lifespan, regularly use the Auto Clean system, which flushes out mineral deposits and residue.

  1. Fill the water reservoir to the 'MAX' line.
  2. Set the temperature dial to the highest setting and allow the iron to heat up.
  3. Once hot, unplug the iron and hold it horizontally over a sink.
  4. Press and hold the Auto Clean button. Water and steam will flush out from the soleplate, carrying mineral deposits.
  5. Continue until the reservoir is empty.
  6. Allow the iron to cool completely before storing.

Cleaning the Soleplate

For external cleaning, wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner if necessary. Do not use harsh abrasives or metal scouring pads.

Troubleshooting
