3. Setup Guide

3.1. Unboxing and Initial Setup

  1. Carefully remove the Logitech M325 Wireless Mouse and its components from the packaging.
  2. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse.
  3. Remove the battery pull tab to activate the included AA battery.
  4. Locate the tiny Logitech Unifying receiver, typically stored inside the battery compartment or packaged separately.

3.2. Connecting the Mouse to Your Computer

  1. Insert the Logitech Unifying receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  2. Turn on the mouse using the On/Off switch located on the underside of the mouse. The LED indicator on the mouse will illuminate briefly.
  3. Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. This process may take a few moments.
  4. Once installed, the mouse cursor will become responsive, indicating successful connection.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Basic Functions

  • Left Click: Press the left button to select items, open files, or activate links.
  • Right Click: Press the right button to open context menus or access additional options.
  • Scroll Wheel: Roll the scroll wheel up or down to navigate through documents and web pages.
  • Tilt Scrolling: Tilt the scroll wheel left or right to move backward or forward in web browsers or horizontal scrolling in applications.

To conserve battery life, always turn off the mouse using the On/Off switch when not in use for extended periods, such as overnight or when traveling.

5.1. Battery Replacement

The Logitech M325 mouse uses one AA battery. When the battery is low, the LED indicator on the mouse may flash red. To replace the battery:

  1. Turn off the mouse using the On/Off switch.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover on the underside of the mouse.
  3. Remove the old AA battery.
  4. Insert a new AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  5. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  6. Turn on the mouse.

5.2. Cleaning Your Mouse

To maintain optimal performance, periodically clean your mouse:

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the exterior of the mouse.
  • Avoid getting moisture into any openings.
  • For the optical sensor, use a dry cotton swab to gently clean the lens.

Cannot connect to the Unifying receiver.Download and use the Logitech Unifying Software to re-pair the mouse with the receiver. Ensure the receiver is not too far from the mouse.
