Setup
1. Installing Batteries (Detail Trimmer & Ear/Nose Trimmer)
- Twist the bottom cap of the detail trimmer or ear/nose trimmer counter-clockwise to open the battery compartment.
- Insert one fresh AA battery (not included) into the compartment, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings.
- Replace the bottom cap by twisting it clockwise until secure.
2. Attaching Guide Combs (Hair Clipper)
- Select the desired guide comb for your preferred hair length. The combs are marked with their respective lengths (e.g., 1/8", 1/4", etc.).
- Align the comb with the clipper blade and push it firmly until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently pull the comb away from the blade.
Operating Instructions
Using the Hair Clipper
- Ensure the clipper blades are clean and lightly oiled before each use.
- Plug the clipper into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Attach the desired guide comb. For a shorter cut, use a smaller numbered comb. For longer hair, use a higher numbered comb.
- Turn the clipper ON using the power switch.
- Begin cutting hair from the nape of the neck, moving upwards against the direction of hair growth. Use smooth, overlapping strokes.
- The taper control lever on the side allows for fine adjustment of cutting length without changing guide combs, useful for blending and fading. Push the lever up for a closer cut, and down for a longer cut.
- For detailing around ears and neckline, remove the guide comb and use the clipper blade carefully.
- Turn the clipper OFF and unplug it after use.
Using the Detail Trimmer
- Ensure a fresh AA battery is installed.
- Turn the trimmer ON using the slide switch.
- Use the trimmer to define beard lines, sideburns, and other facial hair. Hold the trimmer at a slight angle and move it gently against the skin.
- Turn the trimmer OFF after use.

Using the Ear and Nose Hair Trimmer

- Turn the trimmer ON using the slide switch.
- Gently insert the trimmer tip into your nostril or ear canal. Do not force it.
- Move the trimmer in a circular motion to trim unwanted hair.
- Turn the trimmer OFF after use.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Blades
- After each use, turn off and unplug the main clipper. Remove any guide combs.
- Use the provided cleaning brush to remove loose hairs from the clipper blades and trimmer heads.
- For the main clipper, do not rinse the blades under water.
- For the detail and ear/nose trimmers, the heads may be rinsed under running water, but ensure the main body and battery compartment remain dry. Allow to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
Oiling the Blades
- Apply 1-2 drops of the included blade oil (or a similar light machine oil) to the teeth of the clipper and trimmer blades once a month, or as needed.
- Turn the appliance on for a few seconds to distribute the oil evenly.
- Wipe off any excess oil with a soft cloth. Regular oiling ensures optimal cutting performance and extends blade life.
Storage
- Always store the clipper kit in the provided extra large soft storage case.
- Ensure all appliances are clean and dry before storing.
- Remove batteries from the detail trimmer and ear/nose trimmer if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Clipper/Trimmer does not turn on. | Main clipper: Not plugged in, power outlet issue. Trimmers: Dead or incorrectly inserted batteries. | Main clipper: Check power connection and outlet. Trimmers: Replace batteries or ensure correct polarity. |
| Poor cutting performance, pulling hair. | Blades are dull, dirty, or not oiled. Hair buildup. | Clean blades thoroughly with the brush. Apply blade oil. If blades are dull, consider professional sharpening or replacement (if available). |
| Excessive noise or vibration. | Loose blade screws (main clipper). Lack of lubrication. | Check and tighten blade screws if necessary (do not overtighten). Apply blade oil. |
