Operating Instructions

Setting the System Mode

Use the system mode slide switch located at the bottom of the thermostat to select one of the following modes:

  • Cool: Activates the cooling system.
  • Off: Turns off both heating and cooling systems.
  • Heat: Activates the heating system.
  • Em. Heat (Emergency Heat): Activates the auxiliary/emergency heating system. Use only when the primary heat pump is not functioning.

Setting the Fan Mode

Use the fan mode slide switch located at the bottom right of the thermostat to select one of the following fan modes:

  • Auto: The fan runs only when the heating or cooling system is actively operating. This is the most common setting.
  • On: The fan runs continuously, regardless of whether the heating or cooling system is active.

Programming the Schedule (5+2 Day)

The PRO 2000 allows for 5+2 day programming, meaning you can set one schedule for weekdays (Monday-Friday) and another for the weekend (Saturday-Sunday).

  1. Press the SET button. The display will show the current program period and temperature.
  2. Use the ^ or v buttons to adjust the temperature for the current period.
  3. Press SET again to advance to the next program period (e.g., Wake, Leave, Return, Sleep).
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for all program periods for weekdays.
  5. After setting weekday periods, the thermostat will automatically switch to weekend programming. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for weekend periods.
  6. Press the RUN button to save your settings and return to normal operation.

Temporary Hold and Permanent Hold

  • Temporary Hold: While in RUN mode, use the ^ or v buttons to adjust the temperature. This will temporarily override the schedule until the next programmed period begins. The word "Hold" will flash on the display.
  • Permanent Hold: Press the HOLD button. The word "Hold" will appear steadily on the display. Use the ^ or v buttons to set the desired temperature. This temperature will be maintained indefinitely until you press the RUN button to resume the programmed schedule.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Thermostat

To clean the thermostat, gently wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or internal components.

Battery Replacement (if applicable)

The Honeywell PRO 2000 TH2210DH1000 is dual-powered (corded electric). Batteries are not required for its primary operation. However, if your specific installation uses batteries for backup or specific features, replace them when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Use fresh alkaline batteries (typically AA or AAA, refer to your specific unit for type).

Note: The product specifications indicate "Batteries Included? No" and "Batteries Required? No", confirming its corded electric power source.
